I am extremely proud to be a West Memphian, and it has been a privilege and honor to serve for more than 25 years as an elected City Councilman. The experience has been a priceless one, and I love the sheer excitement of walking, talking, and living in this community with you, my fellow citizens. In 2020, you all elected me to serve as the City Clerk for the City of West Memphis. In this role, I have learned that we as a community deserve a leader who will always put service over self.

An experienced leader understands that commitment is so much more than what meets the eye. A true leader understands that the day-to-day obstacles in city government aren't just about the obvious; Unforeseeable challenges exist, and business as usual for the city means that operations must be running effectively and efficiently at all times. Our community has to be clean and habitable, our families must be safe from crime, and our families have to be able to work, shop, and eat in peace in the community they reside in. A true leader leads by example, not by just talking the talk, but by truly walking the walk.

 

An experienced leader doesn't require praise or recognition for putting in the work that he was elected to do. A qualified leader always extends a helping hand and genuinely smiles at individual successes in his community family.

Today, I am asking you to allow me to continue to serve you, the citizens of West Memphis. Together, we are West Memphis, and I can't walk this path without you. I am seeking your support on this journey that I have been so fortunate to have started with you. I ask for your trust and your vote, but most of all, I ask for your permission to represent you and our city. We are in this together. "Let's make a difference!" Please allow me to be your next Mayor for the City of West Memphis.
